Beauty Wishlist

I love everything about cosmetics but I especially love that the beauty industry is always changing and innovating new products that are high quality and worth the price. I've complied a list of beauty products that I hope to test out and review on Lust for Lip Gloss throughout the year and some products that I've been just wanting to add to my beauty collection.

*In order from top to bottom

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. I've heard nothing but great reviews about this foundation and so I'm super excited to pick this up. Though it's pricey I personally think it's worth it. I've come to realize that drugstore foundations most of the time are to dark for my skin so I love that this foundation comes in a variety of colors. In addition this foundation is great for HD photos, perfect for my blog!

Benefit World Famous Neutrals - Sexiest Nudes Ever Eye Shadow Palette. Benefit has release some new palettes this year that contain four eyeshadows and two mini Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows that are exclusive to this palette. We all know how much I love those cream shadows so these palettes are a must have.

Clinique All About Eyes. Testing out eye makeup all the time surely has worn down the skin around my eyes. This product claims to diminish the appearance of fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles. I'm in need of some hydration!

Dr. Jart Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm. Since my skin is uneven due to redness and acne scarring I need a foundation to cover it up. But in all honestly I hate wearing foundation most of the time (probably since I haven't found my holy grail one yet). This year I will be on the hunt for the best tinted moisturizer or BB cream. This one by Dr. Jart has some great reviews on Sephora so I'll be checking it out for sure!

OPI Nail Lacquer in Catch Me In Your Net. This polish is just stunning. No words to describe it. Perfect mix of blue, turquoise and gold shimmer. I've seen this polish on eBay before with competitive bidding wars. I can see why!

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque. My hair is naturally curly and so it needs a ton of moisture all the time. I replace my regular conditioner with a deep repair mask for extra moisture. I use this mask on the ends of my hair since they can be the most dry, prone to frizz and split ends. I've heard nothing but great things about this hair mask.

Ole Henriksen Walnut Complexion Face Scrub. A few months ago I purchased the Seven Skincare Sensations from Ole and this scrub was in the sample set. Oh boy did I ever fall in love with it. The particles are fine enough to buff away dead skin without irritating the skin. Plus it smells heavenly!

L’Oréal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain by Colour Riche. Have heard that these are dupes for the Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stains! Really want to feature the whole collection of shades on Lust for Lip Gloss!

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. I love to define and thicken my eyelashes however sometimes it can be difficult and messy when applying mascara to the bottom lashes. This mascara from Clinique has a teeny tiny brush that will define lower lashes with ease.

Laura Mercier Mineral Powder SPF 15. Currently revamping my entire face routine, a new velvety powder for setting foundation is a must! Plus this one supposedly prevents cakey makeup!

Burberry Trench Eyeshadow. I really want to dip my toes into the world of luxury designer make up. This classic eyeshadow from Burberry would be a great start!

NYX Pencil Lip Liners. These are a must in any make up collection, especially for those bold lipsticks. NYX lip liners are great quality yet affordable.

Sultra The Temptress Power Dryer. My current blow dryer is on its way to the morgue. Seriously though, every time I use it I smell smoke.

Shiseido Eyelash Curler. Are high end curlers better than drugstore ones? I would like to test this out with a drugstore vs. high end eyelash curler test and feature it on my blog.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows. I've featured three of these on this blog already and their amazing. I'm on the hunt for Smoldering Plum and Amber Rush! Great pigmentation yet very affordable.

Urban Decay Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush. My brush collection is limited to only a few Sigma kits. I'm pretty lazy about washing my brushes every week so a few extra face brushes on hand would be great to have when all my other ones are dirty.

LORAC Pro Palette. Half matte shades, half shimmer, neutral, and a good value. Need I say more?
